Two More Games To Leave Xbox Game Pass Ultimate At The End Of February?!

Despite the continued expansion of the subscription service, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will lose two games at the end of the month…

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will lose Soul Hackers 2 and Madden NFL 22 on February 29, 2024. While both games will be removed from the service, they will still be available for purchase on the Microsoft Store for those who want to play them.

Xbox Game Pass loses a handful of games every now and then, but the service also keeps adding to its robust directory.

Recently, Game Pass added two highly rated games for subscribers. Not to mention, Microsoft has already confirmed that six new games will be coming to the service in the coming weeks alone.

On February 29, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will lose Soul Hackers 2 and Madden NFL 22. While the loss of Soul Hackers 2 is somewhat of a blow for fans of the Shin Megami Tensei universe, Madden NFL 22 is perhaps less notable. Given that newer releases of the annual franchise are currently available on Game Pass Ultimate via EA Play. That said, Shin Megami Tensei fans can enjoy Persona 3 Reload on Game Pass Ultimate. Thanks to the game’s release on the service earlier this month.

Games leaving Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at the end of February 2024:

  • Madden NFL 22 (2/29)
  • Soul Hackers 2 (2/29)

It’s worth noting that the “leaving soon” tab on Game Pass Ultimate shows that Soul Hackers 2 and Madden NFL 22 will be leaving the service on March 1, 2024. Depending on time zones, addresses are usually removed from service in the early morning hours. For those who want to play Soul Hackers 2 after it has been removed from Game Pass, the game is currently available for $17.99 on the Microsoft Store. Madden NFL 24, the latest instalment in the franchise, is now available to subscribers on PC and console. For Cloud, it will be available on February 27, 2024.

Game Pass subscribers will soon be able to enjoy Activision Blizzard titles on the service: the first Activision Blizzard title to join the service following the massive acquisition will be Diablo IV!

President Sarah Bond recently confirmed the game’s Xbox Game Pass release date on an episode of the Official Xbox Podcast. More Activision Blizzard titles will follow. But Microsoft hasn’t announced the schedule yet.

Several strong first-day launches and the inclusion of Activision Blizzard titles continue to build on an already strong year for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. A surprise hit, Palworld is the biggest third-party addition to Xbox Game Pass. Not to mention, MLB The Show 24 will be another significant third-party first-day game on the service alongside Persona 3 Reload.
