Live Wire, Adglobe, and Binary Haze Interactive announced the 2D dark fantasy action-adventure RPG for Switch a week ago, but here’s the announcement: it’s going to be a cross-generation, multiplatform game.
First, the sequel to Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights will be released in early access on Steam. It will launch there on March 25th and will remain in Early Access for 6-12 months (depending on user feedback). This early access version will include a village and the first four regions. There will be unique enemies and bosses per location, and some characters may have companions per area. Basic gameplay action moves and abilities, skill upgrades, a shop system, and other additional features will also be included in this release. Over time, locations, boss fights, storylines, and new gameplay mechanics will be added via Early Access.
Set decades after the events of Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights, homunculi – sad, artificial life forms – roam the land. In this dark fantasy Metroidvania, you will face formidable enemies and explore an enchanting post-apocalyptic world. Humans and Homunculi – what awaits them at the end of their quest for salvation? Set in the Land of Fumes, this prosperous magical superpower is home to vast amounts of magical resources lurking beneath the surface. Hoping to further the development of their kingdom, the Homunculi were created. Unfortunately, toxic fumes from the underground drove the Homunculi mad and turned them into savage monsters.
You play as Lilac, an “Attuner” who has the power to save the Homunculi. Upon awakening, you find yourself in a laboratory deep underground. There you will meet the Homunculi who are intimately involved in the downfall of the kingdom. Together with the Homunculi, you must search for your lost memories and precious friends in the Land of Fumes. Follow the journey of destruction and rebirth in a post-apocalyptic world, decades after the devastating Rain of Death.

Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist is available later this year for PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
