TECH NEWS – Among other things, the iPad Pro with OLED display will reportedly launch later this week without any event.
Mark Gurman, writing for Bloomberg, said that the company is not planning a separate event for the OLED iPad Pro and M3 Mac models, and will simply do away with their launch with a press release. MacRumors, citing its sources, added that these products will be available sometime this week. It’s not known what the company will come up with, but in addition to the OLED iPad Pro models, we can expect two iPad Airs with M2 chips and a MacBook Air with the more advanced 3-nanometer M3 chip. If there is an event for them, invitations will be sent out a week before the event. And while Apple often holds shows during this time, the Cupertino company is also adept at issuing press releases.
The OLED iPad Pro will also get a major makeover in terms of looks, as Apple wants to make it bigger. In addition, we can also expect new iPhone 15 colors, spring-themed cases and accessories for the iPhone and Apple Watch from the company, but they may also bring a new Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro. Supercharged’s two sources tell us that Apple’s stores could be in for a major upgrade, with banners being replaced and new products to try out, in addition to changes to the interior decor.
Many members of the press (and YouTube) are making appointments with Apple, as the company either gives them the new products or informs them of the end of the embargo. Apple’s stores will be remodeled on the night of March 7, and the press will be informed earlier. There is a rumor that Apple could already use the M4 chip in the iPad Pro models, but this does not seem realistic.
So it is unlikely that the company will unveil its new devices in broadcast form this time, but the press will still get information (and a chance to test).
