Over the weekend, a large number of accounts were suspended by the now Microsoft-owned publisher, which is doing everything it can to prevent Call of Duty cheaters.
Over the weekend, more than 27,000 accounts were suspended, or nearly 10,000 per day. According to the company, improved detection systems and recent security updates are helping anti-cheat developers filter out the bad actors, and as development continues, be prepared for more bans in the future. The last such wave occurred at the start of the third season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone, and Activision Blizzard timed a free multiplayer period to coincide with it, running from April 4 to April 8.
The third season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone will feature six new 6v6 multiplayer maps. Four of them are available now, with the other two coming later in the season. The big new feature for Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3 is the revival of an older map, Rebirth Island, and the introduction of Resurrection Mode. This allows players to respawn if at least one of their teammates is still alive. Zombies introduced a new story quest, a new Dark Aether Rift, and a new Warlord (Rainmaker: specializes in artillery and explosives).
A Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III data miner recently found a yet-to-be-announced multiplayer map. It’s called Get High, and it’s not a traditional map. It has a vaporwave environment and parkour-based gameplay, and the goal is to get players to the top as quickly as possible, so it sounds more like a new map for a new game mode.
