Two PlayStation Plus Premium Games Leaked?

Sony has yet to confirm which games will be joining the top tier of its subscription service in April (while still refusing to officially announce the departing titles, something Microsoft is able to do with every update), but there are already signs that two games will be appearing on PlayStation Store soon.

Sites that track PlayStation trophies, such as PSNProfiles and Exophase, have also seen a trophy listing for MediEvil. We’re not talking about the PlayStation 4 remake (which was released in 2019), but the PS1 original. MediEvil: Resurrection, an earlier installment in the franchise, is already in the PlayStation Plus Classics catalog, or the PlayStation Plus Premium-exclusive list. This is a PSP game. But what’s the other game that hasn’t been officially announced, but there are hints that it will be part of the line-up?

It’s another PS1 title, Star Wars: Rebel Assault II: The Hidden Empire. Like MediEvil, it will be available for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 as part of the PlayStation Plus Classics catalog. According to Gematsu, the PlayStation Store site first appeared on PS Deals, which follows changes to the PS Store. According to the site, the release date is April 16, a week away, but we think it will launch on the 23rd instead, as PlayStation Plus Extra/Premium updates for the month will be announced on the Wednesday before, the 17th.

Sony recently confirmed that Dave the Diver will also be coming to PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 later this month, and will be available to PlayStation Plus Extra/Premium subscribers. Tales of Kenzera: Zau will also be available, but as a new game. And the April PlayStation Plus Essential offering includes three games: Immortals of Aveum (PlayStation 5), Minecraft Legends (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4) and Skul: The Hero Slayer (PlayStation 4).

The two PS1 games have not yet been announced.
