Homelander And Ferra Are Coming To Mortal Kombat 1 – Watch The Trailer! [VIDEO]

Homelander and Ferra got a trailer before they arrive in Mortal Kombat 1.

It can feel like Mortal Kombat 1 was not so long ago. But the game is already on the finish line of the first round of DLCs, and soon, a big “hero” will steal the spotlight.

Today, NetherRealm Studios fully revealed Homelander from The Boys, as well as a bit of Ferra, in a new trailer for the upcoming Kombat Pack.

The trailer opens with a replay of the show’s weird milk-drinking scene as a victory animation before the camera pulls back to show Ferra jumping into the air for a better look at her.

Then comes the Versus screen animations for the DLC characters. Homelander smiles and strikes a heroic pose while Ferra sits atop a sack full of severed heads. Plus, we got a look at Mavado before its official release this week.

Unsurprisingly, this trailer doesn’t show any actual gameplay. At least parts of Homelander’s pre-fight intro and Fatalities are shown. Unfortunately, Ferra doesn’t get much. Fans of The Boys will probably recognize the finale involving laser head melting and Liu Kang crashing into a plane.

Although he will be attending the same CCXP Mexico event where MK1 was revealed, it has not yet been confirmed if Antony Starr will be voicing his character in the fighting game.

Starr has repeatedly stated that he will not be lending his voice to the role in Mortal Kombat. However, fans are still hopeful. Tara Strong has also not been confirmed to return as the voice of Ferra from Mortal Kombat X, but based on her voice here, it seems likely.

No release date has been given for the characters. But given that the trailer description points to The Boys Season 4 premiering on June 13th, we’ll likely get a taste of the new heroes by then, if not sooner.
