Lionsgate has announced the release dates for upcoming films starring Mark Wahlberg, Dave Bautista and Gerard Butler.

Flight Risk, Mel Gibson’s first film as a director since 2016’s Hacksaw Ridge, hits theatres on October 18. The film was written by Jared Rosenberg and produced by John Davis and John Fox of Davis Entertainment, along with Gibson and Bruce Davey.

Wahlberg, Michelle Dockery and Topher Grace star in the thriller, which centres on a pilot (Wahlberg) who transports an air marshal (Dockery) and a fugitive (Grace) through the Alaskan wilderness on their way to a trial.

Lionsgate also announced that J.J. Perry’s action-comedy The Killer’s Game hits theatres on September 13. Bautista, Sofia Boutella, Terry Crews, Scott Adkins, Pom Klementieff, and Ben Kingsley round out the project’s cast written by Rand Ravich and James Coyne. The story is based on the book by Jay R. Bonansinga. Produced by Kia Jam, Andrew Lazar and Steve Richards.

Bautista plays a prominent assassin who, after being diagnosed with a terminal illness, takes it upon himself to carry out an assassination. But then he has to fight the other assassins to save his ex-girlfriend (Boutella).

Additionally, Lionsgate plans to release Den of Thieves: Pantera on January 10, 2025. The film, acquired through the merger with Entertainment One, stars Butler and O’Shea Jackson Jr. The project was produced by Tucker Tooley, Alan Siegel, and Mark Canton.

In writer-director Christian Gudegast’s sequel to the 2018 action film Den of Thieves, Big Nick (Butler) follows Donnie (Jackson) around Europe before the planned robbery of the world’s largest diamond exchange.
