Santa Monica Studio and Jetpack Interactive are bringing the sequel to the story of Kratos and Atreus to PC, but this time they’ve given us a heads up.
God of War: Ragnarok was released on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on November 9, 2022, and the free Valhalla DLC arrived a little over a year later on December 12, 2023, so by the time the PC port is released, it will have been almost two years since the console version launched. Of course, the PC port will include Valhalla by default, so you won’t have to wait any longer.
Unlocked frame rates and the option of true 4K resolution unleash the full potential of our cinematic, no-cut camera as you travel through the breathtaking vistas of the Nine Realms. See improved reflections, lighting, and shadow fidelity, as well as increased geometric detail. Take advantage of NVIDIA Reflex low-latency technology for faster reactions and harder combos with responsive gameplay. Experience the breathtaking beauty of the Nine Realms in panoramic widescreen with 21:9 ultra-widescreen and 32:9 super ultra-widescreen support. Play your way. God of War: Ragnarok is coming to Steam and the Epic Games Store on September 19th for PC, and Sony has already made it official that the game will require a PlayStation Network account. So the company isn’t backing down, and whether we like it or not, it’s going to be on us.
