Kena: Bridge of Spirits Finally Arrives on Xbox Platforms, and the Wait Isn’t Long! [VIDEO]

Ember Lab, the acclaimed indie game studio, is excited to announce that their popular story-driven action-adventure game, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, will finally be available on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One starting August 15, 2024. The game will come with exciting new content, including Xbox-exclusive pirate-themed Rot hats, a unique Kena Staff, and a Golden Rot Skin.

The physical Premium Edition, developed in partnership with Maximum Entertainment, will also be available, featuring an official digital soundtrack, a retail-exclusive sticker sheet, and all the exclusive in-game items. Pre-orders for both digital and physical versions will be available soon.

Josh Grier, Chief Operating Officer at Ember Lab, expressed his enthusiasm: “We are thrilled to share Kena’s story with a new audience on Xbox platforms. As our debut game, Kena holds a special place in our hearts, and we hope Xbox players will enjoy the journey of Kena and her Rot friends as much as we do.”

Kena: Bridge of Spirits offers a rich narrative experience with exploration, puzzle-solving, and fast-paced combat. Players will embark on a journey of self-discovery with Kena, a young Spirit Guide, as she works to restore an ancient village to its former glory.

Initially launched on PlayStation platforms on September 21, 2021, Kena: Bridge of Spirits has won several awards, including Best Independent Game and Best Debut Indie Game at The Game Awards 2021. The Xbox version will include the Anniversary DLC update from September 2022, featuring Charmstones, Spirit Guide Trials, Kena Outfits, accessibility features, and a New Game+ mode that allows players to restart Kena’s journey with all previously unlocked abilities, upgrades, outfits, and Rot companions.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits will be available worldwide on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One from August 15, 2024, priced at $39.99/€39.99/£34.99 on the Microsoft Store. The physical Premium Edition will also be available at major retailers globally from August 15, 2024, for the same price. Pre-orders for both editions will be available soon.
