[NDD 2024] Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics: Retro Brawling [VIDEO]

Capcom is trying to win over fans and/or veterans of the genre with a fighting game collection.

 

The package will include X-Men: Children of the Atom, Marvel Super Heroes, Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes, Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes, Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, X-Men vs. Street Fighter, and The Punisher. So they’re not exactly modern games, but they’re still great fighting games.

Online Ranked, Casual, and Lobby play will be unlocked for all fighting games in the collection, allowing players to show off their skills against friends, family, and other players from around the world. Online play for the collection is supported with rollback netcode for a strong and stable online experience. Global high score leaderboards are coming to every game in the collection so players can track their journey to the top of the list. Training Mode comes to all fighting games in the collection so players can learn, practice, and master their moves. Spectator Mode is available so you can enjoy watching your friends and fellow fighters battle it out! Check out the collection’s enhanced features, including a music jukebox, an in-game museum, new display filters, and more! The classic arcade beat ’em up The Punisher comes to PC and modern consoles for the first time in the United States.

Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics will not only be released digitally, but will also receive a retail release. It will be released sometime in 2024 for PlayStation 4, PC (Steam), and Nintendo Switch.
