Lara Croft Pops up in a Game You Wouldn’t have Thought of at First!

The whole story is made even funnier by the fact that Eurogamer already had an article about it, but it was published too early…

Sometimes the big press gets behind the scenes information about what the big developers and publishers are up to, and they can even prepare with PR articles. This is what Eurogamer did, but someone at the site rushed to publish it, because their bunch of characters has since become inaccessible, but they did it too late, because we could access what we could briefly read on the site from Google’s cache. Now it is useless to link to it because it has disappeared from the cache. However, the Internet never forgets, and others have already captured everything that was said.

But what is it about? In the case of Lara Croft, it’s not that common to see her as a guest on other IPs. But that’s the case, as it turns out she’ll be appearing in Behaviour Interactive’s hit game Dead By Daylight! We can take this so seriously that her poster has been leaked and is still available on Twitter.

The official description reads: “Lara Croft has survived expeditions few would dare, looked death in the eye and lived to tell the tale… Now she must once again face a dark adventure shrouded in mist. With her experience and skills, Lara Croft perfectly embodies the characteristics needed to survive in The Fog and is right at home in the world of Dead by Daylight alongside other iconic characters. She may be well prepared for the trials ahead, but in the Entity’s twisted world, the future is never promised.”

According to Eurogamer, the collaboration will appear in Behaviour Interactive’s game on July 16, so we’re less than a month away from release. Considering that DBD has already featured Silent Hill, Resident Evil, and even Castlevania, there are really a lot of things the game has collaborated with. And the best part is that Behaviour has started following Crystal Dynamics on Twitter…
