Homeless: Fear in the Big Apple’s Metro Tunnels [VIDEO]

The game, which uses Unreal Engine 5, is coming soon from DarkPhobia Games, but the studio is not a huge team, but it should still be a fair horror experience.

Last year, about eight months ago, DarkPhobia Games released Graveyard Shift. The game was made by a concept artist (TeaserPlay) and his studio of two (!) people, and their next project, Homeless, is heading towards the finish line with a similarly minimal team. It’s a horror game set in 90’s New York, starring Albert, a security guard who roams the subway tunnels and then encounters a sinister figure. He has to investigate, solve cases and sometimes even use a gun…

When communication lines go down and you find yourself trapped with a flesh-eating predator, you must navigate New York’s streets and subway corridors to uncover The Vulture’s dark past and stop him before he becomes his next meal. The gameplay emphasizes the player’s sense of responsibility as a security guard. The level design is designed to make the player feel like a real security guard. You’ll have to check the CCTV, patrol the area and investigate suspicious activity just like a real security guard. They also released the system requirements

Minimum system requirements:

  • 64-bit operating system and processor required
  • Operating System: Windows 10 x64/11 (no version number given)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-3470/AMD Ryzen 5 3600
  • Memory: 6 GB RAM
  • Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970/AMD Radeon R9 280
  • DirectX: DX12
  • Free disk space: 8 GB

Recommended System Requirements:

  • 64-bit operating system and processor required
  • Operating System: Windows 10 x64/11 (version number not specified)
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-3770/AMD FX-9590
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660/AMD Radeon RX 580
  • DirectX: DX12
  • Free disk space: 8 GB

It’s pretty friendly, so you probably won’t have to crack open the piggy bank for new parts. Homeless is coming to PC, no release date is known, but if they’ve already announced the system requirements, it’ll probably be on Steam later this year.
