MOVIE NEWS – The Scars can be seen in action for the first time in a new set photo of the second season of the HBO series The Last of Us!

The Last of Us is currently in the middle of filming its highly anticipated second season. I don’t know about you, but we here at the editorial office have many questions. It was recently confirmed that the second season will consist of only seven episodes. However, these are supposed to be quite long.

We already knew that the story of The Last of Us Part 2 would be developed over several seasons, but now we are wondering how far we will go in those seven episodes.

In the second season, Kaitlyn Dever joins the cast as Abby. She also stars Young Mazino as Jesse, Isabela Merced as Dina, Danny Ramirez as Manny, Ariela Barer as Mel, Tati Gabrielle as Nora, and Spencer Lord as Owen.

Catherine O’Hara joins in an undisclosed role, while Jeffrey Wright reprises his role as Isaac Dixon from the game.

We haven’t seen anyone from the Salt Lake crew in action on set yet, but Bella Ramsey has been seen in action several times as Ellie alongside Merced’s Dina.

Now, a new picture has arrived, from which we can deduce how much of the story of Part 2 the second season will cover.

As shared by Reddit user Mastermind0623, actors playing Scars/Seraphites were seen on set, suggesting that the second season will most definitely reach the end of Ellie’s “Day Two”…

Of course, the HBO series will probably have some subtle changes to the story. The first season mostly got our characters from A to B in the same way as in the game.

Towards the end of “Day Two” of TLoU Part 2, Ellie encounters the Scars as she ventures over to the hospital to find Nora, who she believes has information on Abby’s whereabouts.

This matches up with on-set photos of Bella and Isabela that have recently surfaced. Bella was seen wearing a short-sleeved blue shirt, again evoking Ellie’s “Day Two” look.

Interestingly, however, Dina was also spotted next to him. Those who have already played the second part know that Dina does not accompany Ellie on this particular day.

That’s pretty much our proof that HBO is clearly going to change things up a bit.
