Space Marine 2: The Creators Have Confirmed Our Biggest Fear About the Leak!

Bad news has been announced regarding the leaked version of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2…

Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive have confirmed that the leaked version of the highly anticipated Space Marine 2 is real. The community is advised to avoid spreading spoilers. (In other words, we can expect a real spoiler tsunami from the game soon…)

It also turned out that an older version was leaked, but it can still be considered quite complete. Moreover, many players managed to access it.

Focus Entertainment recently took to X/Twitter regarding the leaked version of Wh40K Space Marine 2. He issued a statement confirming that the leak was real. It was accessed by many players and although it was not well optimized, some users played it and shared many spoilers on social media, which could ruin the experience for those who want to play it from the day of release.

“Our team have poured years of hard work, passion, and dedication into creating a game worthy of your hopes and expectations, and it’s disheartening that many of the surprises we worked to keep secret were spoiled.”

“We’re saddened that this build, which will be almost a year old by the time we launch, is how some of our most eager fans will first experience Space Marine 2,” said Saber Interactive.

Avoid the leaked version of Space Marine 2 if you can

If you really want to help Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive, it’s best to ignore the leaked version of Space Marine 2 entirely. “Our unwavering commitment has been to deliver the best possible game for our players. This was the driving force behind our decision to spend more time on development and ensure we deliver the best experience we can”, they revealed.

They remind us that weeks ago, the game cancelled its open beta to ensure the best possible gaming experience when the title launches on September 9th for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5. “[T]he best way to support our teams’ hard work is to play the game as they’ve always intended.”
