Is Sony’s Big Hit of the Year Appearing a Competiting Platform?

A rumor has surfaced that at first you’d say is unbelievable, but in the long run it sounds perfectly logical that it could happen.

We read about it on Gameranx regarding Mr. Boomstick XL’s X-Vlog Live podcast, where he and co-host CMoney talked about a rumor he heard the day before the show. Boomstick declined to reveal the source, but said that other YouTubers (we won’t list them) had heard the rumor. According to them, if the rumor is true, it will “blow up the Internet” and Boomstick was referring to the game in a reference that didn’t name the creation, but you can guess what he meant.

Boomstick said it’s the biggest game of the year, and it’ll be the last title to appear on Xbox Game Pass in July. It’s currently available on PlayStation and PC. You could say it’s Stellar Blade as an example, but there’s another game besides Shift Up that sounds more logical! Back in April, XboxEra podcast host Nick Baker said that there were early talks of Helldivers 2 coming to Xbox!

There were no rumors of an Xbox version of Stellar Blade or any other PlayStation exclusive title. Sure, there have been other games that have made their way to Microsoft hardware after being console exclusives on PlayStation, but in the case of Final Fantasy XIV or Persona, they were announced before they were announced, and Persona was also part of Game Pass. We’ve also heard that Helldivers 2 lost 90% of its players after being one of 2024’s biggest titles to date, so it seems logical that a move to Microsoft’s platform could reinvigorate the live service game.

With more regions able to sign up for an Xbox account than PlayStation Network accounts, the player base for Arrowhead and Sony could be much larger. But none of this is official yet!
