Leaked First Look at Red Hulk – Harrison Ford Goes Full Rage in the MCU!

MOVIE NEWS – Harrison Ford is set to make his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in February 2025’s Captain America: Brave New World. The veteran actor is stepping into the role of Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, who transforms into the Red Hulk in the film. A sneak peek of the monstrous character was shown at the Disney expo, and the footage quickly made its way online, allowing us to get our first glimpse of Ford when he’s in a truly bad mood.

Red Hulk’s entrance was already teased in the first trailer for Brave New World, although we only saw his legs at that time. Later, at Comic-Con, Marvel confirmed that, much like in the comics, General Ross (now President Ross) will become the Hulk. According to the story, following the chaos of Secret Invasion, the character, previously portrayed by William Hurt, moves into the White House and attempts to manage his relationship with the new Captain America, Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie), while also having a keen interest in acquiring adamantium.

In the Marvel comics, Ross undergoes the same procedure that turned Bruce Banner into the Hulk, driven by his ongoing conflict with Banner. It remains to be seen how this storyline will be introduced in Brave New World, but Tim Blake Nelson will reprise his role as Samuel Sterns, last seen over a decade and a half ago in The Incredible Hulk. It’s speculated that Ross may initially team up with Sterns, but eventually changes course, suggesting he might not be a true villain.

Here’s a first look at Red Hulk:

Following William Hurt’s passing, the role of Ross required recasting, and Harrison Ford, at 82, is making his MCU debut. When asked how challenging it was to play Red Hulk using motion-capture technology, the legendary actor, known for his roles as Han Solo and Indiana Jones, humorously remarked: “It wasn’t difficult; I just had to make a fool of myself, which I have plenty of experience with.”
