Hasn’t Even Been Announced Yet Thousands Are Already Playing?! Exciting Steam Anomaly Spotted!

Deadlock is the title of Valve’s next game, and according to the Steam database, it already has more than 16 thousand players…

Valve working on video games, in addition to managing Steam, is entirely standard. After all, the company allocates a lot of employees to their development. Today, we’re going to talk about Deadlock, a game that Valve is trying to keep under wraps. However, its existence has been known for weeks since it was registered with the US Patent Office. Also, because dozens of users have shared many gameplay videos of this game.

In the past few hours, social media users such as Knoebelbroet on X have echoed the record of Steam DB, i.e. Steam’s database. According to this, the video game Deadlock, developed by Valve, has thousands of players! Even though it hasn’t been announced yet…

As of now, we have no idea when Valve will make the announcement of Deadlock official.

However, we can already tell you that the game really exists, and at the time of writing, it already had more than 16,000 users.

Since May 25, players have been testing Deadlock, a title in the hero shooter genre with MOBA mechanics, in which teams of six have to compete against each other in more or less large-sized fields. The uptick in player numbers appears to be due to a new series of playable tests. The latter expanded the range of players, collecting feedback and refining the gaming experience.

Steam parent company is also developing another game

A few days ago, it was reported that a voice actress revealed that Valve was working on another game. Its code name is Project White Sands. Many gamers quickly associated it with the popular shooter series Half-Life. Some have speculated that the CS 2 stream, which hinted at two games in development at Valve, could be related to White Sands and Deadlock. It seems that it is too early to draw any more conclusions about these projects, and it is best to wait…
