Space Marine 2: Graphics Modes and Settings for the PC and Console Versions of the Game Revealed!

The features and technologies of the PC version of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 have also been revealed in addition to the specifics of the console versions.

With only a few days left until Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is released, players need to see how the game performs on the platforms they will be playing on. It’s worth talking about whether it’s on PC or console, because Saber Interactive recently released details on the graphics options for the sci-fi PVE shooter. We already knew that almost all systems will be able to run the game at 60 FPS, but there are some that won’t.

The game’s publisher, Focus Entertainment, has released essential details about Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2’s release performance on its official website. PS5 and Xbox Series X will have two modes: Quality and Performance. The former will run at 4K and 30 FPS, while the latter will run at 1080p and 60 FPS.

The Xbox Series S, on the other hand, will remain without 60 FPS; only a single mode will run at 1440p and 30 FPS.

As an additional detail, Saber Interactive has also decided that ray tracing will not be enabled on any platform, and there will be no HDR support either. However, it has also been reported that SM2 will support crossplay and cross-save. Also, not all DualSense features will be used; only adaptive triggers will be supported. Haptic feedback comes later.

While Saber Interactive will implement NVIDIA DLSS 2 and AMD FSR 2 at launch for better performance, the following versions (DLSS 3 and FSR3) will be available in later patches. Ultra widescreen monitors will also be supported in the future. The function is expected to be introduced by the end of September. The same goes for official Steam Deck support, which is planned for the end of the year.

In addition to this information, you should also know that Space Marine 2 will not use Denuvo (thank heavens…). Another anti-cheat system is used, namely Easy Anti Cheat. Official mod support will not be compatible for now, at least in the framework of the NVIDIA GeForce Now service available via the cloud.
