Is This the “Real” The Witcher 3 Experience?! Interesting Advice from Fans

The Witcher 3 players are being urged to change a particular setting to get an “entirely different experience”…

After nine years, it’s understandable that The Witcher 3 fans are looking for ways to refresh the experience. Given the age of CD Projekt Red’s esteemed title, we’re getting tired of the predictable gameplay. We want excitement, change, and a few unexpected surprises.

Although there are hidden treasures in The Witcher 3 that do not require us to change the gameplay in any way, there are other ways to make the journey of the White Wolf feel new.

When Karottenbrot asked on Reddit, “What are some good Mods for a darker/ more lore-accurate experience?” There were tons of suggestions, some of which didn’t require any mods at all.

One of the recommendations that came out was to play the game in Polish!

Reddit user name-classified wrote: “Play with the Polish language and whatever subtitles would help you translate.” If you’re not a native speaker, you might have doubts about playing through a game where you have to concentrate a lot and/or rely on translations to understand what’s going on. However, as the same person explains, choosing a different language makes the game “an entirely different experience”.

Although not many people have tried this, those who have played it have praised that the game is much more challenging than usual, especially regarding specific sentences or words. “Every single profanity gets a hard R,” noted gracekk24PL.

Of course, there are plenty of mods mentioned in this thread. But why not try listening to Geralt with a thick Polish accent in the original language of the novels?

In any case, you should take a look at the Reddit link below! Gamers have collected many valuable ideas and exciting mods.

The Witcher 4 may still be years away, but that doesn’t mean we have to forgo new Geralt experiences while we wait…
