New Deal from Valve: The Original Steam Deck Model Is Cheaper Than Ever

The 64GB and 512GB Steam Deck LCD models are available on sale until September 26 at 7:00 p.m.

Valve is offering a sale on the original Steam Deck, allowing customers to purchase it at a more attractive price, although not all models are included in this discount.

For over two years, the Steam Deck has become one of the most compelling options for entering the world of PC gaming laptops, mainly due to its affordability and solid gaming performance compared to more premium models like the ASUS Rog Ally or Lenovo Legion Go. Additionally, Valve’s talented team of engineers and developers work tirelessly to optimize the software, providing significant added value.

This is why the Steam Deck being on sale is such important news for thousands of users waiting for a discount to get their hands on one of these devices. This time, the discount offered by Valve only applies to the Steam Deck LCD, specifically the 64GB and 512GB versions, as listed on the official website. As seen in the image below: “the 64GB and 512GB Steam Deck LCD models are on sale until September 26 at 7:00 p.m.”

Steam Deck LCD Models on Sale

You can now purchase a 64GB Steam Deck LCD for €313.65 thanks to a 15% discount, though you might need to add a MicroSD card to expand the storage. Meanwhile, the 512GB version is available for just €38 more, at €351.75, featuring a faster drive that solves the hard drive capacity issue. However, you should be aware of an important note that Valve has been emphasizing for several months.

“The 64GB and 512GB Steam Deck LCD models are being phased out. Once supplies run out, these units will no longer be available,” Valve states. The company is working to clear out remaining stocks of these models, leaving only the Steam Deck OLED and 256GB LCD versions available. These devices may still be around for a few weeks, but they could sell out at any time. Also, consider that these deals are quite favorable compared to discounts from previous months.
