After Weta Workshop and Private Division (a subsidiary of Take-Two) moved the game’s release date from 2024, we didn’t know exactly when the date was moved until now.

Weta Workshop announced the game a little over a year ago, but at that time the studio only said it would arrive in 2024, as no target platforms were originally announced. In April of this year, they clarified the release date and target platforms. On September 12, it was announced that the fall release date would not be kept and that the single-player Hobbit simulator would be released in early 2025, but it was recently clarified on which date.
