PUBG Corporation has just unveiled an exciting team-based multiplayer action shooter that’s worth a look if you’ve ever dreamed of an isometric Counter-Strike. Named Project ARC, it’s currently in development for PC, and the trailer has just dropped.
Project ARC is introduced as a high-paced multiplayer action-shooter where teams of five can dive into intense and hyper-realistic shootouts, inspired by PUBG: Battlegrounds. Players will have access to an extensive arsenal that includes shotguns, assault rifles, submachine guns, long-range weapons like sniper rifles and DMRs, pistols, grenade launchers, and more—each weapon offering its own unique traits.
Defuse the Bomb Once Again
While we’re still short on details, we know the game will feature a bomb-hunting and defusing mode akin to Counter-Strike. Specifically, players will be tasked with hacking into a concealed Crypt within a building by installing a decryptor, either storming in by force or defending it to prevent anyone from gaining access.
Project ARC aims to provide PC players with a tactical military action game where teamwork is critical to success. Although there’s no official release date yet, the accompanying video gives a good glimpse into what PUBG Corp. and Krafton have in store. With luck, more release information will surface in the coming days.
