Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP: Chainsaw Action Arrives on 2013 Consoles!

Previous generation consoles will soon receive the new version of Lollipop Chainsaw, and a free update will be available.

Let’s start with the free update. This one won’t be that substantial, as it’s just a costume. The pin-up outfit was previously a bonus with the original version of Lollipop Chainsaw in North America, so it was a bit limited in availability. Now, however, it will be available for free in all versions from the day Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP hits previous generation consoles.

Then let’s talk about the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions. For consoles in 2013, Dragami Games has announced that Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP will be released on December 2 for $45 and will run at 1080p resolution on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at 30 FPS or more, according to the announcement. This is questionable. What will be the native resolution? Will it be a fixed 30 FPS? If it’s between 30 and 60, it won’t have much of an impact on gameplay. We should also add that if you already bought the game on PlayStation 5, you will NOT get the PlayStation 4 version and vice versa. Xbox owners are in for a treat, as Smart Delivery means that the Xbox Series and Xbox One have a slightly more affordable approach.

Pre-ordering won’t be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, so you’ll have to look in vain for that option on the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store. There will be some kind of pre-order bonus, but we have no idea what it will be because Dragami Games will reveal it later. They’re in no hurry… they don’t have that much time!

By the way, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP has been out for two months now, and will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC from September 12th. At least everyone gets their chainsaw.
