Towers of Aghasba: A Dazzling Fantasy Game Merging Zelda’s Style with God of War’s Spirit [VIDEO]

A groundbreaking open-world fantasy game is coming that blends Zelda’s artistic charm with the epic atmosphere of God of War. One of the PS5’s first early-access titles launches in just a few days.

Towers of Aghasba, first revealed last May, has continued to capture attention as developers at Dreamlit Inc. share more details about the project. Yesterday, the team officially unveiled a content roadmap and additional insights into the gameplay and early-access approach.

Saiprapanch Adloor, senior game designer at Dreamlit Inc., elaborated on the decision to launch the game in early access on the PlayStation Blog. “This is an ambitious open-world sandbox crafted by a small team,” Adloor explained, “with core mechanics designed to let players shape their islands however they choose.”

The developers emphasized that Towers of Aghasba is one of the first in-development early-access titles for the PS5. This decision aims to actively involve the gaming community in shaping the game. “Early access allows us to collect player feedback, enabling us to refine, balance, and expand key features more effectively,” Adloor added. “This way, new content and updates can be tailored directly to what players want.”

While exclusive to PS5 and PS4, the game is also launching on Steam on November 19. The Steam description teases that players can “scale towering mountains, glide across expansive valleys in a breathtaking open world, and design towns that reflect their unique vision.”
