Indiana Jones and the Great Circle download size exceeds 131 GB…

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is coming to Xbox and PC in a week, but a new social media post says the title’s download size will be 131.69 GB on Xbox!

While Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass subscribers can currently “pre-install” The Great Circle on both platforms, that particular download is currently just a 10MB placeholder. The real thing, it turns out, will be a tad larger.

“HUGE! Indiana Jones and the Grand Circle isn’t just BIG in name! The download for the game for Xbox Series X|S is over 130 GB,” reads the Twitter post, which accompanies a screenshot showing the title downloading to local storage.

“It’s complicated for people who are going to play on Xbox Series S and will definitely have to uninstall something,” the post continues.

While we couldn’t confirm the download size ourselves, we’ve reached out to Microsoft for comment on the news. Regardless, it might be worth freeing up some storage space if you need it when the game arrives.

A recent trailer said that The Great Circle “captures the feeling of actually being the adventurer in the story” while “making you feel like you’re watching a real Indiana Jones feature film.” We’ll see how well the final version delivers.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is scheduled to release on Windows PC, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X on December 9, 2024. It’ll also be included with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscriptions.
