Infinity Nikki, one of the hottest games of 2024 that combines the gameplay of Genshin Impact with dress-up games, is now available for pre-download.
Infinity Nikki, the highly anticipated RPG that combines open-world exploration with a dress-up game, is coming soon. The new game from Singapore-based studio Infold Games is the next instalment in the dress-up game series known as Nikki, which attempts to combine the cuteness of Animal Crossing with Genshin Impact. It will be available for pre-download starting Tuesday, but will officially be released on Thursday. The game is scheduled to be released on mobile devices, PlayStation 5, and Windows PC. The developers released a new story trailer on Monday night, which shows a scenario in which Nikki rescues the “mystical god of desires.”
Based on the new trailer, it seems that the story will focus on various fantasy elements.
Infinity Nikki is set in a world called Miraland. There’s a magical forest where fairy creatures called Faewish Sprites collect people’s wishes for a god. But it seems that god has disappeared, and it’s up to Nikki to save him. We don’t know all the details yet, but the trailer gave us a glimpse of two characters, including a potential villain who looks like a Disney prince turned Final Fantasy character.
The hype surrounding Infinity Nikki has been pretty high. In large part, that’s because it’s rare to get a fashion-focused adventure game, let alone one that boasts an open-world exploration, a full-fledged story, and plenty of puzzles. Plus, the development team is made up of veterans. The developer behind The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild also worked on the game, which has sparked further interest and boosted the studio’s reputation. Infold Games released a closed beta in August of this year, but it will be available to anyone interested soon.
