Microsoft has announced that 13 games will be leaving Xbox Game Pass throughout December 2024. The first wave exits on December 15, with the second round following on December 31. Players should prioritize which titles to play before they’re no longer available.
Microsoft has shared its list of games leaving Xbox Game Pass by the end of December 2024. Typically, games are removed twice a month, with Microsoft providing a two-week notice. This time, however, the company has taken a slightly different approach.
As part of its December Game Pass update, Microsoft not only revealed the games leaving on December 15 but also disclosed the titles set to depart on December 31. This unusual move brings the total to 13 games leaving this month. The early notice of the end-of-month removals might suggest that Microsoft doesn’t plan to release a second announcement wave for December, but this remains speculation.
Day-One Game Among Departures
A game that was available on Xbox Game Pass from day one will be leaving the service this month.
The first wave, departing on December 15, includes Amnesia: The Bunker, Forager, Forza Horizon 4, Rainbow Billy: The Curse of the Leviathan, Rise of the Tomb Raider, The Quarry, and Tin Hearts. The second wave, scheduled for December 31, will see the removal of BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, Close to the Sun, Humankind, LEGO 2K Drive, McPixel 3, and Party Animals.
