Dragon Age 5: BioWare teases a world of new stories and endless possibilities!

Dragon Age The Veilguard’s creative director shares exciting hints about “the opportunity to tell relatable Dragon Age stories” in the next fantasy RPG. Although the latest Dragon Age installment just launched, its developers are already envisioning Dragon Age 5, saying “we can tell any story we want.”

The Dragon Age series is renowned for delivering gripping stories and unforgettable characters in a constantly evolving fantasy realm. With the release of Dragon Age The Veilguard, fans have been eagerly diving into the game. However, many are curious about what lies ahead for the franchise. BioWare has addressed these questions, offering reassurance to those hoping for more titles in the future.

While some story arcs may have reached their conclusions, the future of Dragon Age remains bright—if creative director John Epler’s interview with Gamesradar is anything to go by. In discussing the game’s broader narrative, Epler hinted at a Dragon Age 5. “I love how much we’ve revealed, but I also love how many questions we’ve raised throughout the game,” he shared.

“What excites me about looking forward, perhaps to a Dragon Age 5, or whatever might come next, is the sense of possibility. We can tell any story we want, and there’s enormous potential to explore narratives that remain deeply connected to the Dragon Age universe while incorporating fresh elements and introducing new characters. The end of The Veilguard leaves the world completely transformed,” Epler explained.

BioWare shifts its focus to Mass Effect

Despite the talk of a Dragon Age 5, this RPG appears far from realization. BioWare’s current priority is Mass Effect 4, which will not emulate The Veilguard’s photorealistic visuals. The science fiction epic has become the studio’s primary focus, which means no expansions are planned for Dragon Age The Veilguard.
