Hideki Kamiya, director of the original Okami, will serve as the director of this project, which is being co-developed by studios that include various staff members from the original Okami: M-Two Inc., Machine Head Works Inc. and Clovers Inc. – of which Hideki Kamiya is a member. What will the new adventures of Amaterasu and company be like?

Life in this world comes to life. Originally released in 2006 and set in a Japanese-style world, take on the role of Amaterasu and embark on an adventure to bring life back in this action adventure game. Enjoy the action and character development while overcoming difficulties through its unique game system, the Celestial Brush. With its unique world, heartwarming story, and many other gameplay elements, Okami continues to be loved by fans around the world more than 10 years after its original release.

Even Kamiya left a message. So Clovers will be his new studio after leaving PlatinumGames. That means he’s back at Capcom: “To all of you: “Until next time…” – how long has it been since the story ended with that? I never thought the day would actually come when I would return to Okami and continue the story with my own hands. Even at this moment, my body is filled with both a cautious surprise that this is not a dream and a joy that cannot be described in words. Everyone who worked so hard to make this project a reality, the friends who believed in me and gathered at Clovers Inc., and most importantly, the voices of so many of you who continue to support Okami even after such a long time: all of this has come together to create this miracle, for which I am deeply grateful.
