This episode will be the first to be made in-house, as Take-Two was a publisher through 2K, but Gearbox is now owned by Take-Two, as Randy Pitchford’s company changed hands this year.

The new trailer introduces the Timekeeper, a ruthless dictator who rules the masses from above. A world-altering catastrophe threatens his perfect order and unleashes chaos on Kairos, the most dangerous planet yet discovered in the Borderlands universe. Borderlands 4 is the most ambitious Borderlands yet, lovingly crafted by the development studio that first forged the first-person shooter genre.
