Tripwire Interactive’s game will also be available in a retail edition, and since some AAA titles are missing that these days, we should be happy about that…
Killing Floor III is the next installment in the legendary cooperative action/horror first-person shooter series. The year is 2091, 70 years after the events of Killing Floor 2, and the megacorporation Horzine has created the ultimate army: an obedient horde of bio-engineered monstrosities called Zeds. Now, the only thing standing between these infernal creations and the future of mankind is the rebellious rogue group known as Nightfall. In this intense first-person shooter, players take on the role of a Nightfall specialist, teaming up with up to five teammates to battle through a war-torn, dystopian future, surviving relentless waves of Zeds, unlocking new skills, and building the ultimate arsenal.
Assemble the ultimate Zed extermination squad in a frenetic six-player co-op with full cross-play functionality across all platforms. Skilled specialists can brave the battlefield alone in tense single-player mode. Players will face the most deadly Zeds yet. Each enemy has been redesigned with advanced mobility and attack methods and re-tuned with smarter AI, making them faster, deadlier, and more strategic than ever.
From flamethrowers to shotguns to katanas, players will have an extensive arsenal at their disposal, fully customizable with hundreds of mods, gadgets, and skills to choose from to suit their unique brand of bloodletting. Players will be thrown into a variety of treacherous hot zones to contain the further spread of the outbreak. Interactive environments give players dynamic advantages by activating turrets, fans, and other devastating traps. The M.E.A.T. system returns to deliver even more realistic carnage. With additional dismemberment points and persistent blood, the game responds to attacks with gruesome authenticity.
Killing Floor III is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC in March. The physical version will be distributed by Plaion. There will be a closed beta test and the previous titles of the franchise can be purchased with up to 95% discount.
