The GTA VI map has left players in awe, and it’s easy to see why. Fully exploring it could take months. While the day we get to roam its world hasn’t arrived yet, we can still marvel at its sheer size.
We’ve always known Rockstar Games’ latest creation would be monumental, but seeing the map’s scale truly drives home how daunting it is. With so much ground to cover, players are already strategizing their journeys across the map. One user, however, has a simple and hilariously slow plan.
“I can’t wait to drive a mail truck at 50 mph from one end of the map to the other,” one gamer joked.
Another, Knightmaster8502, added: “Florida Truck Simulator 2025 looks fantastic!”
If you’ve ever dreamed of life on the road—with a dose of chaos—this map will undoubtedly be a playground worth exploring.
Beyond Swamps and Plains
Jokes aside, players are impressed that the GTA VI map offers more than just flat, swampy terrain.
“I’ll admit, I wasn’t initially excited about revisiting Vice City, knowing it’s surrounded by flat, swampy land (I’m a fan of mountainous regions),” explained Apollo-1995.
He continued, “But after seeing the maps and now the trailer, I think Rockstar could deliver an engaging map design here, perhaps even adding mountains in the northern areas.”
However, not everything is sunshine for fans. They’ll be ringing in the new year without that much-anticipated second GTA VI trailer. Adding to the anticipation, the game has already snagged an award despite not being released yet. By the time it finally launches, the map might grow even larger.
And we’ll be ready. Overwhelmed, but ready.
