There are the fans, and then there are the fans who are even more rude. The latter includes fluffhq on Reddit, who surprised even the hardcore crowd.
Most The Sims 4 players are into home design, character development, and exploration, but one fan has turned his attention to the often overlooked in-game hobby of frog farming. Maxis’ game has an almost limitless amount of content, allowing players to watch as generations of Sims are born, grow old, and have children of their own. The stories, interactions, and drama between the characters can usually keep an audience engaged for hours, and that’s before we even get to the little DLC (for which Electronic Arts charges a lot of money…).
Fluffhq on Reddit shared how they experienced a less common aspect of the gameplay. Instead of raising Sims or building houses, they started breeding frogs. They posted a picture of the results and explained it simply by saying that they created a frog breeding chart. In the comments on the thread, some people expressed that they like breeding frogs because it is one of the easiest things to do and there are an unlimited number of samples that can be taken from the Oasis Springs pond.
The table below shows all the different frogs you can get and how to breed them. The Sims 4 has many frog variations, and players can selectively breed them all. The table shows exactly how to get each type of frog for those who want to get them all. (Pokémon, but with frogs?) Some people have not discovered this option after 12,000 hours of play.
The Sims has been around since 2000 and has had many spin-offs in addition to four main games. Plans for The Sims 5 (Project Rene) have been scrapped by Electronic Arts, so they are continuing to expand The Sims 4, which is good for longtime fans who don’t have to start from scratch for a new episode…
