PS5 Exclusive Koei Tecmo Samurai Game Coming to PC – And We’ve Got the Release Date!

PlayStation 5 exclusive Rise of the Ronin is officially heading to Steam, complete with an impressive lineup of PC-specific features. Developed by Team Ninja and published by Sony, the game first launched for PS5 in March 2024. Its PC release, courtesy of Koei Tecmo, is set for March 10, 2025, with a price tag of $49.99.

 

Rise of the Ronin is a combat-heavy, open-world action RPG set during Japan’s Bakumatsu period in 1863. Players step into the shoes of a Ronin as they navigate the turmoil of the era.

The PC version brings a host of technical upgrades, including 8K resolution, DirectX 12 Ultimate compatibility, support for ultra-wide and super ultra-wide monitors, and up to 120 FPS. It also features ray tracing, AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution, Nvidia DLSS, Intel XeSS, and 3D audio for an immersive experience.

It’s a busy year for Team Ninja, who recently shadow-dropped Ninja Gaiden 2 Black. Meanwhile, Microsoft has confirmed that Ninja Gaiden 4 will release later in 2025.
