Steve Ogg, the actor behind Trevor in GTA V, has shared a creative idea for a short but memorable appearance in GTA VI. He envisions Trevor passing the torch to the new protagonists, Jason and Lucia, in a brief but impactful cameo.
The gaming world is abuzz with anticipation for Grand Theft Auto VI. Rockstar’s next big open-world project promises a duo of protagonists, Jason and Lucia, set against the backdrop of a fictionalized Florida. While details about the game remain scarce, Steve Ogg, who famously portrayed Trevor in GTA V, has a unique pitch for a small but meaningful role in the upcoming game.
Speaking to ScreenRant, Ogg revealed his idea for bringing Trevor into GTA VI. “It would be fun if Trevor showed up in it [GTA 6] only to get killed at the beginning,” he said. This scene, he explained, could pay homage to Trevor’s infamous encounter with Johnny Kleibitz, a secondary character from GTA IV.
“I think that would be cool because it also acknowledges the fans by saying, ‘Hey, thank you.’ Pass the torch, stomp on Trevor’s head, and allow a new generation to take over,” Ogg continued. Despite the appeal of this concept, the actor clarified that Rockstar hasn’t contacted him about reprising Trevor in GTA VI, making it unlikely that the character will appear in the next installment.
Recent industry discussions have revolved around the possibility of Rockstar pricing GTA VI at $90 or $100. While some believe this could help resolve financial challenges within the gaming sector and set a new industry standard, others see it as a potential misstep that could alienate players in the long run.
