Path of Exile 2 Finally Listens to Players: New Stash Tab for Endgame Maps

For months, Path of Exile 2 players have been demanding it, and now it’s finally here: a dedicated inventory space for endgame maps. The new tab costs 120 points, but players who purchased it in the first Path of Exile will get it for free.

Grinding Gear Games has kicked off the week with fantastic news for Path of Exile 2 fans. Since the game launched in early access on December 6, players have repeatedly asked for a dedicated storage tab for Guidestones, essential items for the endgame phase. The game’s default inventory system made organizing them a challenge, leading to frustration among the community. Now, the developers have confirmed that a new stash section has been added, allowing for automatic storage of these valuable items.

What Does the New Stash Tab Offer?

According to a post on the official Path of Exile website, Grinding Gear Games has introduced a specialized map stash tab that can hold up to 576 Guidestones per tier. “Each tier of Guidestones is divided into six sub-tabs, each of which can be customized or listed for individual trade. When the map stash tab is open, a Guidestone in your inventory will be automatically placed in the correct section by simply pressing Ctrl+Click, or using the Stash button on controllers,” the update reads.

However, it’s important to note that this feature is not free. The map stash tab is priced at 150 points in Path of Exile 2, though a temporary discount lowers it to 120 points. Additionally, players who purchased this stash tab in the first game will automatically receive it in the sequel without any extra cost, as it is linked directly to their account. The community has reacted positively to this update, as many players have been requesting this feature since the early access launch.

Developers Acknowledge Player Concerns

This update proves that Grinding Gear Games is paying close attention to community feedback. The developers are well aware that Path of Exile 2 still has a number of significant issues, which they plan to address in the next major update. Among their top priorities are improving endgame progression balance, expanding character build options, and fixing other gameplay-related problems.
