9 Games Are Leaving Xbox Game Pass on February 28 – Here’s What You Need to Know

Xbox Game Pass will remove nine games from the service on February 28. Yakuza 3 Remastered, Space Engineers, and Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun are among the titles leaving. Big titles like Far Cry New Dawn and Starfield were added to Xbox Game Pass earlier in February.

February 28 could be a tough day for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, as at least nine games will be leaving the service. This month has been packed with big additions, including the highly anticipated Avowed and several other noteworthy titles available even for lower-tier subscribers. However, as always, new arrivals mean that some existing titles must depart.

Earlier in February, Xbox Game Pass lost seven games, many of which had only been available for a single year. Titles like Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, A Little to the Left, and Tales of Arise joined the service in February 2024 and were removed exactly a year later. While new arrivals may fill the void, subscribers should be aware of the next batch of departing games if they want to play them before they disappear.

List of Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass

Xbox previously announced that Yakuza 3 Remastered and Yakuza 4 Remastered would leave Xbox Game Pass in February after four years. The same goes for the critically acclaimed Gris, which joined the service in September 2023. However, that initial announcement did not include F1 22, which has now been officially added to the list of games set to exit Game Pass at the end of the month. This EA Play title was only available for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers, so not all players will feel its loss. Still, with this addition, the total number of departing games now stands at nine.

All Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass on February 28, 2025

  • F1 22
  • Gris
  • Maneater
  • PAW Patrol World
  • Space Engineers
  • Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun
  • Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty
  • Yakuza 3 Remastered
  • Yakuza 4 Remastered

Fans eagerly awaiting the release of Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii may want to revisit the departing Yakuza games while they’re still available. While Yakuza 3 isn’t the most popular entry in the franchise, Yakuza 4 is a major installment for its returning characters and refined gameplay. The removal of Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun may also be disappointing for some subscribers, but a few other Warhammer games are still available on Game Pass for now.

While February 28 will see some fan-favorite titles leaving Xbox Game Pass, the platform has had its fair share of major wins this month. High-profile releases like Far Cry New Dawn and Starfield became available earlier in February, even for Standard subscribers. Combined with the day-one launch of Avowed, some players may find these additions a fair trade-off. Still, for those who want to play the departing titles without purchasing them separately, the clock is ticking—there are only 10 days left.
