MOVIE NEWS – Matt Murdock, a strange Marvel hero. He lost his sight as a little boy, and at the same time his other senses were enhanced to a superhuman level. Not much else is known about his childhood, but as an adult he fights with the weapon of law on the side of good by day and delivers justice as Daredevil by night. The latest series, Daredevil: Born Again can be seen on Disney+ from March 5, and on this occasion we have collected interesting facts about the superhero lawyer’s childhood and the characters with whom life has brought him together.
Matt Murdock is the son of boxer Jack “Battlin” Murdock, who is raising his child in the “Hell’s Kitchen” neighborhood of Manhattan. Little is known about his mother, who left them at a young age. As a young child, Matt was blinded by a substance believed to be radioactive, which left him blind, but his other senses were developed to a superhuman level.
As Matt grew older, his father introduced him to boxing, but made him promise to study hard and not make a living from boxing. After graduating from high school, Matt studied law at Columbia University, where he met his future partner, Foggy Nelson. After a brief stint as a lawyer and graduating, they opened their own law firm to fight injustice.
At night, Murdock continued to fight in the city as Daredevil and helped numerous superheroes throughout his career. In the latest series, “Daredevil: Born Again,” let’s take a look at which Marvel characters Matt Murdock has met so far during his “television career”:
- Elektra
Matt and Elektra’s relationship is strange and dates back a long time. However, after Elektra was killed, she was revived by the organization “The Hand” as a weapon called Black Sky. Matt Murdock, along with the Defenders, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist, investigated the incident.
- Spider-Man
- Jonah Jameson revealed Spider-Man’s identity, and also blamed Peter Parker for Mysterio’s death and an alleged mass shooting in London. Then, the United States Department of Justice wanted to take Spider-Man into custody, so Matt Murdock took on his legal representation.
- Amazon
Jennifer Walters first met Matt in the courtroom – and on the opposite side of the court. Walters, representing Eugene Patilio Jr., was forced to sue Luke Jacobson for a defective suit, despite the fact that the man had made – among other things – the Amazon and Matt’s superhero suits. Outside of court, Amazon and Daredevil also got into a fight, and then they were romantically linked.
3+1 Echo
