MOVIE NEWS – The thriller-horror M3GAN was a huge success in 2022, the film, shot for 12 million dollars, brought in 180 million, and the critics loved it. The dance of the killer doll led the top lists of video channels for weeks – it’s no wonder that the self-aware robot is presenting a similar production in the sequel. The Blumhouse company decided to make the sequel shortly after the first impressive viewing figures were received. So M3GAN 2.0 can soon be seen, in which the robot that has become a favorite of the public returns, but not just any way.

The ending of the first part was left open for the sequel, meaning M3GAN was defeated, but not completely destroyed. This comes in handy in the sequel, as the groundbreaking robotics technology is stolen and a company develops a similar robot, but this time for military purposes: Amelia is deliberately created as a deadly weapon. When Amelia becomes self-aware and begins to get rid of the people she no longer needs, M3GAN must be revived and further developed to confront her.

In M3GAN 2.0, the engineer who developed the robot, Gemma (Allison Williams), returns, as does her niece, Cady (Violet McGraw). These characters have also undergone a serious upgrade in the sequel: Gemma, having learned from what happened, is now fighting to have the government put the development of artificial intelligence under strict supervision, and Cady has grown into a rebellious teenager, causing her aunt a lot of trouble. Amelia is played by Ukrainian-born Ivanna Sakhno, who has so far fallen into the “I’ve probably seen her somewhere, but I can’t remember her name” category, as she has been seen in several major productions (Ahsoka, Pacific Rim: Ring of Fire, The Spy Who Dumped Me) but not in significant roles. She could be the main villain of M3GAN 2.0 for the big jump.
