- “Inside Out 2” – Nominated for Best Animated Feature. The film returns to the mind of the now-teenage Riley, just as Headquarters undergoes unexpected and significant upheaval: making room for new emotions. And he’s not alone; he’s brought along Embarrassment, Apathy, and Envy.
- “Elton John: Never Too Late” – Nominated for Best Original Song. Directed by R.J. Cutler and David Furnish, this documentary offers an intimate look into Elton John’s extraordinary life and the beginnings of his 50-year career. As he prepares for his final North American concert at Dodger Stadium, he takes us back in time, sharing the incredible highs and heart-wrenching lows of his early years, and how he overcame challenges, abuse, and addiction to become the icon we know today. The film features a new, original song by Elton John himself.
Disney+ also hosts Emma Stone’s Academy Award®-winning performance in “Poor Things,” one of the most acclaimed films of 2024, as well as “The Last Instrument Repair Shop,” which won Best Documentary Short Subject.
