Moros Protocol is a science fiction first-person shooter roguelite that tasks you with not only surviving, but facing a world full of darkness and monsters. Load up alone or with a friend for two-player co-op in this stylized, pixel-painted love letter to the classic shooters of yesteryear. Take on the role of Alex, who wakes up aboard a Capital Battleship en route to war – only to find much of the crew dead and the ship infested with monsters. Accompanied by an AI companion and his dim-witted robot assistant, Ody-6, Alex embarks on a journey where every battle is a desperate fight against the unknown – and doom itself. The ship is a war zone. You may be outnumbered, but you are not outmatched.
Moros Protocol is a relentless, fast-paced shooter where survival means adapting – or being consumed. To succeed against the monstrous hordes, players must dynamically adjust their loadout and strategy with each run. Looking for a frantic, high-mobility approach to your enemies? Fill your loadout with SMGs or pistols that are augmented for speed and increased damage on the move-perfect for unleashing a barrage of bullets on the fly. Or, for a slower, more methodical approach, create a sniper build that focuses on powerful, accurate shots that can take down enemies with a single strike.
No matter what you choose, your skills will grow with each playthrough thanks to Moros Protocol’s evolving combat system. Throughout your run, you will find augments tailored to enhance your skills in a particular play style. Find an augment that boosts your running and shooting skills? Change your loadout to a shotgun and go for broke! Plot your own route through each run, with each branching path offering different risks. Do you want to play it safe or face greater danger for greater rewards? Are you looking for a guaranteed new weapon or a vendor to upgrade your skills? Choose wisely as you make your way to your goal. Beware, death is around every corner in Moros Protocol – but death is not the end! Upgrade your skills after each death before returning to battle as a better, more fearsome killing machine.
