“Witchbrook is the most exciting project I’ve ever worked on, and it’s been a long time coming, but I’m very excited to get the game in players’ hands soon. I don’t think the level of simulation and fidelity we’re aiming for in this game is expected of any non-AAA game, and to see it realized in a pixel art indie game has been very satisfying for us. For now, we’re only sharing a small glimpse of a huge game, and I can’t wait for the community to see what’s coming over the next few months,” Rodrigo Braz Monteiro wrote in a press release. “Adopting a four-day work week and a strict no-crunch policy has been a big part of realizing our approach to game development – that the team feels valued, rested, and supported. We know that creativity thrives in a healthy work environment, and we’re confident that the mindful and deliberate pace of Witchbrook will give players that experience,” added producer Rosie Ball. “Witchbrook is our love letter to thoughtful living, the quiet magic of slow moments, and the connections we share with each other and the world around us. Whether players explore solo or share the adventure, we hope Witchbrook becomes a place to unwind and make lasting memories,” said art director Steph Caskenette.

Witchbrook will be released this winter for the Xbox Series, PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
