Inzoi, which dropped Denuvo before its early access launch due to negative reviews, has shown immediate results.
In terms of life simulation, The Sims has essentially had no competition, but Inzoi is shaking up the status quo. The game is still in early availability, but it has already shot to the top of the international sales charts on Valve’s digital platform. It did this in a very short time (40 minutes!).
Inzoi is also now at the top of Steam’s wishlist, as so many people have put it on their wishlists. There’s a lot of hype surrounding the game, which is currently available for $40, with all updates and DLC free until launch. Developed with Unreal Engine 5 and with relatively high system requirements, Inzoi offers over 250 customization options and 400 mental elements, with a wide creative package powered by generative AI on the device.
Prior to Inzoi’s Early Access release, there was a demo that gave us the opportunity to try out Inzoi’s Character Studio and Build Studio, but since the Early Access release, these have been made unavailable. There has also been a lot of interest in the game on Twitch, as it reached fifth place in the Games category on the platform on March 27th, and this is likely to improve over the weekend given the popularity of the game. The reception is very good: it is currently in the very positive category with 6535 reviews (84% of which are positive on Steam).
“I created and nurtured Inzoi with great care, as if it were my child, although it still has a lot of room for improvement. As Inzoi takes her first steps into the world, I feel both proud and a little anxious – hoping she doesn’t stumble or get hurt. It would be deeply appreciated if you could watch over the game with warmth and support. As we prepare for Inzoi’s official launch, we will continue to genuinely engage with creators around the world to make it better, one step at a time,” says Inzoi Studio CEO, Producer and Director Hyungjun ‘Kjun’ Kim.
Well done!
