The awards for the Responsible Fintech Content competition were presented – four journalists received the award created by Számlázz.hu and PastPay . This time too, articles could be submitted to the competition that help increase domestic fintech awareness. Among others, the article on the significance of “buy now, pay later” (BNPL) and the comprehensive analysis of MOHU’s digital payment solutions won.

The 2024 awards for the Responsible Fintech Content competition were presented, and four journalists received the recognition and the accompanying cash prize. The awards were presented to the journalists personally at the Számlázz.hu event, which was combined with a roundtable discussion.

The professional jury once again evaluated the articles based on credibility, topicality, innovation, creativity, and ease of reading. It was also important that the articles address the target group in a clear and educational way and help them navigate the world of fintech. Among others, the winning entries were an analysis of MOHU’s digital payment solutions, articles on the significance of “buy now, pay later” (BNPL), and a comprehensive report on generative artificial intelligence.

The members of the professional jury are: Zoltán Ács, President of the Hungarian Fintech Association, Krisztina Bombera, television journalist, László Mérő, mathematician, psychologist, publicist, and Dr. Bálint Réti, Vice President of the Hungarian Fintech Association. The fifth jury member is the reader himself.

It is not easy to talk about it, even though everyone encounters it, we routinely use various payment solutions and financial administration programs. That is why, as one of the country’s leading fintech companies, we particularly appreciate the work of journalists who have serious expertise in this field and help the general public to understand what is happening in the exciting, rapidly developing world of fintech that shapes our everyday lives,” said Balázs Ángyán, CEO of Számlázz.hu.

The Responsible Fintech The competition for content was launched by Számlázz.hu and PastPay in 2022. Since then, the prizes have been awarded every year, and applications are now open for the 2025 competition.
