Lost Skies: Bossa Games’ Game Is About to Fly into Early Access! [VIDEO]

It’s flying, literally, as Lost Skies will feature our airship as a prominent feature, bringing a new flavor to open-world cooperative survival.

Get ready to explore an extraordinary universe filled with stunning floating islands, rich mysteries, and ever-present danger high above the clouds. In Lost Skies, team up with up to five friends to explore four vast, unique floating islands teeming with ancient ruins, intricate puzzles, and hidden secrets. Design and build your own custom skyship to serve as your home and warship as you take on colossal enemies in the skies. Master the grappling hook for seamless navigation, harness advanced technology to manipulate gravity, and shape your path through the open skies full of endless possibilities.

Engage in survival-lite gameplay without feeling unfairly punished as you explore fascinating ruins, solve puzzles, and uncover the secrets of ancient civilizations. Build and customize your own skyship, a home among the clouds. Design it to be a comfortable, welcoming haven for you and your crew, or transform it into a powerful, heavily armed battleship capable of withstanding epic aerial battles. Test your courage, tactics, and shipbuilding ingenuity as you take on colossal creatures in a vast world of floating islands. Scale towering cliffs with a grappling hook designed for fluid movement, leap from dizzying heights with wingsuits, or glide effortlessly over floating islands. The freedom to explore is unparalleled, allowing you to uncover hidden secrets from every possible angle.

“At the start of Early Access, there’s already a rich adventure waiting for you to discover. You’ll begin your journey in Region 1 (Outerlands), which consists of beautiful floating islands created by Bossa and our community using the Island Creator. You’ll be able to explore three different island types of varying difficulty, with different wildlife, ancient tech enemies, and puzzles. And, of course, you’ll be able to build, customize and upgrade your own skyship, whether you want it to be a cozy base for solo adventures or a powerful battleship for your crew. You’ll also face the greatest threat in Outskirts, the first Herald boss – a massive mechanical creature that will test the strength of your ship and the coordination of your crew. All of this is wrapped up in a progression loop that revolves around crafting, upgrading, and exploration. We believe the foundation is there, and we’ll continue to tweak and balance throughout Early Access to make sure this experience only gets better,” said Bossa Games.

Lost Skies will continue to expand and improve during the Early Access period, including general bug fixes, tweaks and quality of life improvements, the addition of new islands to the first region, and the addition of more enemies and resources to deepen the survival loop. Later, a new region and a ton of new content is planned, from new puzzles and blueprints to new creatures and bosses.

Lost Skies will be available in Early Access on Steam on April 18th.
