F1 25: You Might Need a Nuclear Power Plant to Run It Maxed Out! [VIDEO]

Codemasters and Electronic Arts have revealed the system requirements for this year’s F1 game adaptation… and a weak rig just won’t cut it.

 

Let’s take a look at the system requirements:

Minimum – 1080p/60 FPS, low settings, native resolution, no ray tracing
CPU: Intel Core i5-6400 / AMD Ryzen 3 1200
RAM: 8 GB
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060 / Radeon RX 570 / Intel Arc A380 (ReBAR, 3200 MT/s)
VRAM: 6 GB

Recommended – 1080p/60 FPS, high settings, native resolution, no ray tracing
CPU: Intel Core i5-9600K / AMD Ryzen 5 2600X
RAM: 16 GB
GPU: RTX 2070 / RTX 5060 / RX 6600 XT / Arc A750
VRAM: 8 GB
Internet required (Denuvo)

VR Requirements – 2K per eye, 90 FPS, high settings, no RT
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X

Performance-Oriented – 1440p/144 FPS, high settings, no RT

8K UHD – 8K/60 FPS, ultra settings, balanced upscaling + frame generation, RT ON

VRAM: 24 GB

Path Tracing – 1080p/60 FPS, ultra max preset, quality upscaling, path tracing ON

VRAM: 16 GB

Interestingly, frame generation is only recommended for the 8K setting. F1 25’s Iconic Edition will be playable from 5:00 PM CET on May 27, while the Standard Edition will launch on May 30 at the same time for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC.
