Marvel Rivals and Overwatch 2 Have a New Rival, And It’s Free to Download

It’s true that we can only play this game on one platform, so it’s not accessible everywhere.

A brand new hero shooter game has hit the market, and despite entering such a competitive arena, this game seems well on its way to winning over audiences. Developed by BoldPlay Games, Black Stigma is currently available in Early Access on Steam, and best of all, it’s completely free to try. Still, the hero shooter genre is dominated by Overwatch 2 and Marvel Rivals, so Black Stigma has a lot to prove, but with its diverse set of modes, players can experience every deadly trick in the book.

In Black Stigma, ruthless syndicate bosses clash in brutal battles for control of the city’s criminal underworld. Whether it’s long-range firefights, close-quarters brawls, stealthy ambushes, or full-blown chaos, every tactic is fair game. Your decisions and strategy shape the outcome of every battle. Build the perfect weapon for your playstyle. Stand out on the battlefield with bold, stylish guns tailored to your unique combat flair. Choose your boss and dominate in your own way.

Select your role on the battlefield and play to your strengths. There’s no time to rest—every mode is a fight to the finish. Dive into the variety of modes and savor the deadly magic of every kill. From abandoned subways to secret hideouts and luxury rooftops, every map is designed like a movie set, plunging you into the shadows of a city built on blood and betrayal. In this world of conspiracies and double-crosses, your instincts—and your trigger finger—are your only allies.

Black Stigma currently holds mostly positive reviews on Steam. Available since July 18 in Early Access, the game has already received 862 reviews, with 72% positive, so BoldPlay Games’ shooter is off to a promising start. But remember: this is a marathon, not a sprint.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
