Cronos: The New Dawn: Coming to Another Platform, Release Date Confirmed! [VIDEO]

Bloober Team’s third-person survival horror game has been announced for another platform and will be released soon.

Survive the nightmare of the future to preserve the last remnants of the past. Cronos: The New Dawn unfolds in a bleak world where Eastern European brutalism fuses with retro-futuristic technology, offering a gripping narrative that spans across time. In the past, you witness a world rocked by the Change, a cataclysmic event that permanently altered humanity. In the devastated wastelands of the future, every second becomes a life-or-death battle against monstrous abominations that challenge your reflexes and tactical skill.

You play as a Traveler, an agent of the enigmatic Collective, tasked with scouring the future’s ruins in search of time rifts that will send you back to 1980s Poland.

Strategy, reflexes, survival

Your mission is to locate key individuals from the past who perished during the apocalypse. Using the powerful Harvester, you can extract their essences and carry them into the future. In this dangerous, desolate world, your survival hinges on careful planning and strategic execution. The enemies you’ll face are grotesque nightmares spawned from the remnants of humanity. To defeat them, you’ll need to unleash your full arsenal. In battle, swift choices mean the difference between survival and annihilation. This is your calling.

Launch plans and editions

The disc edition of Cronos: The New Dawn, published by Skybound Games, will be available exclusively for PlayStation 5 and priced at $60. It will include a unique Traveler skin, several useful in-game items, and a couple of stickers. The standard edition of Bloober Team’s game will also cost $60, while the Deluxe Edition, priced at $70, grants access two days early—except on the Nintendo Switch 2.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
