To beat the summer heat, PlayStation is bringing fresh content: starting August 19, 11 new titles join the PS Plus Extra and Premium lineup, including Marvel’s Spider-Man and two legendary Resident Evil entries.

The scorching temperatures continue, and for many gamers, the only escape is to lower the blinds and dive into the world of video games. PlayStation knows its audience is hungry for new experiences in their free time, which is why it has unveiled the August 2025 batch for PS Plus Extra and Premium. The highlight? The return of Marvel’s Spider-Man and the arrival of two classics from the Resident Evil saga, among others.

According to the statement posted on the PlayStation blog, the August lineup will be available starting August 19 for all subscribers. Specifically, there are 9 titles for the Extra plan and 2 more for the Premium tier, along with a 5-hour trial of the recently released Death Stranding 2 to sample Kojima’s latest work.
