Introducing the Xbox Wireless Controller Breaker Series [VIDEO]

TECH NEWS – Microsoft has introduced three new special edition controllers at once, something rarely seen in the history of Xbox hardware. The Breaker family — Heart Breaker, Ice Breaker, and Storm Breaker — each comes with its own distinct design and character. These new models bring unique looks while maintaining all the familiar features of the Xbox Wireless Controller.

Whichever controller you choose, you’re making a solid decision. Here’s a closer look at the Breaker lineup.

Xbox Wireless Controller – Ice Breaker Special Edition

Cool and crystal-inspired, the Ice Breaker combines a light glacier blue design with a frosted translucent shell that resembles fragmented ice. Various shades of blue can also be found across the thumbsticks, ABXY buttons, and textured grips. The controller works via Xbox Wireless or Bluetooth with Xbox Series S|X, Xbox One, Windows PC, Android, and iOS devices (for compatible games).

Xbox Wireless Controller – Storm Breaker Special Edition

Storm Breaker offers a sleek and understated design with a color palette of black, white, grey, and silver. When viewed in light, subtle silver patterns appear across the surface, giving the controller a premium finish. The model includes a metallic d-pad, an opaque top case, and the standard 3.5mm audio jack for compatible headsets.

Xbox Wireless Controller – Heart Breaker Special Edition

The Heart Breaker is the most vibrant of the series, featuring a bold combination of pink, purple, and blue tones. Its translucent top shell adds depth, making the design stand out even more. Through the Xbox Accessories app, players can further customize their controller profiles, remap buttons, adjust triggers, and fine-tune vibration settings.

All three controllers in the Breaker Special Edition lineup will launch on September 9, 2025, at a suggested retail price of €79.99. Availability may vary by region.
